How to Live in Your God Given Purpose

June 30, 2022 How to Live in Your God Given Purpose By KasSandra Owens The Purpose of Your Purpose

God took His time creating every aspect of you, He knows exactly who you are and what you're capable of. He gifted you a small portion of Himself when He was crafting you and planning your life for His good works. Remember, He does all things for His glory therefore, He created you to glorify His name with all the good works He's planned for you to do throughout your lifetime. You accomplish these things by walking in your purpose. He also wants for you to use your purpose to bring Heaven to earth in a way that's unique to you, in a way that you will enjoy doing and are good at. In this article I will share with you multiple ways for you to find your purpose, what it may look like for you, and how to prepare for the journey ahead. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. - Ephesians 2:10 NIV How To Find It Finding your purpose can be both easy and hard depending on how thoroughly you're connected with God, the process of identifying your skills, talents, and spiritual gifts, and whether or not you resist God's will for your life. How close are you to God?

I've experienced the different https://youtu.be/oljeb-vnlnglevels of closeness with God first-hand and am still discovering more as I grow in Christ. I understand that God has a lot of counter-cultural standards for the ideal Christian lifestyle therefore some of them may be difficult to adopt into your daily life. Trust that Jesus knows exactly what you're going through and the various difficulties you face each day, He will meet you exactly where you currently are and escort you on your journey to righteousness. Your obedience to God, trust in the Lord, patience, faith, and perseverance will grow with time and practice and one day you'll look up from your work and realize that everything that is not of the Lord has fallen away and you don't miss it one bit; you don't desire those things you used to desire, you don't crave those things you used to crave, and you don't seek out those people you used to seek out. You eventually realize that following His instructions have actually become easy and peaceful, and it even attracts more joy than ever before. Below are some ways you can strengthen your connection with God:

  • Earnest prayer - Open communication is typically how you would approach building a relationship with someone, right? So why not approach God the same way? Spend time talking with Him, ask Him questions, or just be in His Presence through prayer or meditation as you would any other person you want to get to know. He's simple and straightforward in His communication and is loving and understanding so you can talk to Him about anything you want, even if you just want to vent about the annoying person who is driving under the speed limit in traffic 😂 lbvvs!

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. - Philippians 4:6 NIV Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. - 1 Thessalonians 5:16‭-‬18 NIV

  • Take the time to get to know Him - read the Bible 🤣🤣 lbvvs! For real though, when you want to get to know someone you don't just ask them questions but you listen to their answers too so that you can understand them, who they are, why they're that way, their likes and dislikes, etc. Some of you may even ask about their future goals and plans! Again, use that tried and true approach with God. It's actually kind of easier with God because He already wrote a whole book, the Bible, detailing everything we need to know about Him, who He is, why He's that way, His likes and dislikes, and His future plans. It's up to you to take the time to read it. Now, I'm not saying that you have to read the whole Bible cover to cover just to understand who God is and what makes Him happy lol I'm just saying there are certain books, chapters, and verses in the Bible that gives you the answers to your questions about Him (and even about your purpose which we'll get into in the next section).

I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, ‘My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.’ - Isaiah 46:10 NIV For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. - Jeremiah 29:11 NIV Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will. - Romans 12:2 NIV

  • Be obedient - First of all, God is never late and never fails. In fact, He sends Jesus or His angels to go ahead of you and give you the Holy Spirit within you so that they can help prepare you for the challenges up ahead (every. single. day.). Second, when you receive a sign, message, or warning it's best to heed it because you don't know what's coming that you need to be prepared for. An ignored message/warning can result in anything ranging from tardiness, ill-prepared encounters, or flat out tragedies. I'm not trying to frighten you, I just cannot express it enough that it's crucial to understand that God wants what's best for you so naturally He helps prepare you along the way and to pay attention to the signs He gives you.

We know that we have come to know Him if we keep His commands. Whoever says, “I know Him,” but does not do what He commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person. But if anyone obeys His word, love for God is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in Him: Whoever claims to live in Him must live as Jesus did. - 1 John 2:3‭-‬6 NIV "If anyone has ears to hear, let them hear.” - Mark 4:23 NIV

  • Stop sinning/being disobedient - Yeah I said it. Your sins/disobedience are hindering your connection with God. I know, I know it's easier said than done especially on particularly trying days but there are other ways to have fun, there are other ways to relax, there are other ways to calm down, there are other ways to increase your focus. You just have to be willing to trust that God can and will provide anything you need and open to trying new things that won't jack up your relationship with Him. EXAMPLES: For fun, I dance to and loudly sing gospel music which is mostly gospel rap and pop these days. Yup, the gospel music industry has came a long way lol these days they have every genre you like on YouTube. To relax, I listen to calming gospel instrumentals, play a cooking game on my phone, or read a Christian romance or fantasy book. Christian books can be found on Amazon, Christian bookstores online or in person, and maybe even at your local library. To calm down, I pray to God to vent and repent if necessary because our conversations get real sometimes 😅, leave those negative emotions with Him (I visualize myself pulling whatever negative emotions out of my heart and leaving them at the foot of His throne), and ask Him to give me whatever I think I need and whatever else He wants to give to help me calm down and just feel good again. To increase my focus, I say a prayer asking the Lord to help me focus and remove all distractions. He delivers every time and each time my faith in Him grows and now I'm at a point where I know that if I ask these things of Him then I will receive them. However, if it's outside of His will for you at the moment then He won't give it to you, like that one time I asked Him for energy because I was tired and He refused to give it to me no matter how hard I tried to stay awake... Turns out He wanted to show me something in a dream so I had to go back to sleep😅🙃🤷....

For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, - Titus 2:11‭-‬12 NIV “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." - Matthew 7:7 NIV Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, - Ephesians 3:20 NIV

  • Limit the noise in your life - By "noise" I mean distractions and valuing other's opinions over God's instructions. God understands that your life can be very busy at times, if not all the time, so when you're super busy just schedule a few minutes with Him throughout the day. That looks something like praying for a few minutes before you start your day, random prayers throughout the day to vent, share a funny story, express gratitude for still being alive at the moment, etc., and praying before you go to sleep. You can also spend less time doing certain things to create more space for Him throughout your days. Try taking 5 minutes from an activity you usually do and dedicating that time to talking with God, praising Him, or reading the Bible. It'll look different for each of us but the point is to connect with Him throughout the day to strengthen your spiritual relationship with Him. This allows you time to hear Him when He gives instructions, information, warnings, and also when He informs you about your purpose. As far as valuing what other people believe is best for you over what God has clearly expressed to you, well...the fact of the situation is that God is the only One who truly knows the best things for you to do (for 18 year olds and up). There is a possibility that He spoke to someone else concerning you and in those situations it'll be to confirm what He's already shown you. So it's perfectly okay to receive advice, correction, rebuking, etc. from others but before you implement anything that may go against God's specific will for you, you should always take it to Him in prayer and patiently wait for the answer. I emphasize "patiently" because you may very well have to wait for hours, weeks, months, etc. for the answer to be revealed to you so it's important to wait for Him to make sure you don't make any false moves or adjustments. It's best to be obedient to what God's already revealed to you while you wait.

It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in humans. - Psalms 118:8 NIV “But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him." - Jeremiah 17:7 NIV All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. - 2 Timothy 3:16‭-‬17 NIV

What are your God-given talents and gifts? God gifts us with a small portion of Himself during our creation process so we're born with physical skills, talents, and/or spiritual abilities and some of you may even develop more as you age and/or grow in Christ. The Lord God intends for you to use your unique gifts, to bring glory to His name and to enrich other's lives in some way by serve people in ways that uplifts them (motivational, spiritual, educational, supportive, etc.) and/or helping them improve something (deeper connection with God, stronger, healthier, confident, nicer, more spiritually aware, etc.). You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. - 2 Corinthians 9:11 NIV Below are a list of questions to help you identify your unique combination of talents and gifts:

  • What is something you're good at?

  • What is something that comes naturally to you?

  • What is something you enjoy doing?

  • What is something you enjoy doing for others?

  • What is something you can do for others that doesn't drain your energy?

  • What is something you would do for free to help others?

  • What is something people ask you for the most?

  • Is there anything extra/different about a skill or talent you have that makes you stand out amongst others with the same abilities?

  • Is there anything you've been through that gives God glory and can help people through the same/similar situations?

  • What fruits of the Spirit do you naturally have and use? Fruits of the Spirit: Love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. You may already be aware of

some of your gifts and some of you may already be using them! So the only thing left would be to ensure you're using them to serve and uplift others with a good heart. "Good heart" meaning you aren't being selfish, manipulative, greedy, prideful, impatient, cold-hearted, cruel, evil, etc. Take this information to God and ask Him to reveal to you what your purpose is and patiently wait for His reply. He may only reveal a step at a time to you or He may reveal several steps at a time, just make sure you're obedient even if His plans seem a little far-fetched. Take me for example, if He would've told me this time last year that I would open a ministry and use my life's struggles to help people get through what He's already brought me through I would've laughed and said, "Yeah right". Actually, when He recently told me that I would be a minister to His people I told Him no, that I didn't know the first thing about ministry and didn't know what to talk about. Over time He revealed to me what to minister to you about and how to teach you the ways He's helped me. As He was revealing this to me in stages He was also building me up spiritually with His word and other ministers. Then the Holy Spirit gave me the idea to write a book about my life's struggles to help you all so I wrote the framework and began the book which surely turned into this ministry 🥴. I was surprised and a little put out by Him sneaking it up on me like that so I'm letting you know now, don't fight His will because it'll happen anyway. It's easier if you just go with the flow of the Mighty Holy Spirit 🤣🤣🤣 lbvvs! We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully. — Romans 12:6-8 NIV Video Link: What Is Your Purpose? #shorts By John Gabbanahttps://youtu.be/cBal077Uci4

Walking In Your Purpose Looks Something Like... Walking, talking, and living in your purpose will look differently for each of you but there will be a few core characteristics that we will all share such as:

  • A focused determination to get started, work towards, and complete all of the Lords' tasks

  • Faith and trust in the Lord to provide and make a way for you to fulfill all God's plans for you

  • A deep rooted passion for your purpose

  • Speaking about God, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and Their instructions for us to anyone who's interested or in need of godly advice

  • Serving and helping people who are in need (physically, mentally, emotionally, and/or spiritually)

  • Striving to live an obedient life to the Lord and live sin-free

  • Striving to have good relationships (fellowship) with the Holy Trinity and fellow believers

  • Disconnecting with anything (goals, people, places, things, mindsets, and habits) that doesn't bring glory to God or benefit your purpose Other aspects will vary based

on your unique combination of skills, talents, and gifts. For example, I'm an educator and I speak life and motivation into people as I teach them and to my fellow educators. I also enjoy complimenting others on their physical appearance and accomplishments. You may be a manager and encourage self-improvement and motivation for your employees and fellow managers. You may be a beautician and speak confidence, humility, and self-love into your clients and fellow beauticians. You may be a YouTuber and use your platform and influence to raise awareness to and help those less fortunate and encourage your fellow influencers to do the same. The varieties are endless especially for those of you who have multiple or complex life purposes (yup, that's also a thing). Ask God for guidance on how to use what He gifted you with, when to use it, and with whom. He'll continuously reveal His will and desires for you as you continue to be obedient with His previous and current instructions. I've learned that sometimes He calls for us to take a break on certain talents and gifts and shift our focus to others; while other times He wants us to build upon His prior instructions, working on both the old and the new tasks. Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. - Psalms 119:105 NIV Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails. - Proverbs 19:21 NIV Preparing For Your Journey of Purpose

Walking in your purpose gives you a deep-rooted sense of satisfaction like nothing else in this world! Unfortunately, it's not always sunshine and clear skies during your journey but that's okay because you are never alone! Once you begin your purpose driven journey both God and the devil assigns a legion of angels to you in the spirit, God's angels fight with and for you while the devil's angels fight against you. The road of purpose will get very tough sometimes but don't let it discourage you, keep consistently working towards your goals, stay focused, and you will get there and right on time #GodsSpeed ! There are some things you can do to prepare yourself for the long run ahead of you:

1. Cast aside any sins that can get you entangled thus causing you to get distracted and delay your progress. Sins, even small ones, can be enough to distract you from what God has planned for you to do and often times it won't be obvious. We're all born in sin thus making us all susceptible to being used and attacked by the enemy. One day you'll realize that you've been slacking on your God given tasks and will be able to track the exact moment when you began to slack off and chances are it'll be directly related to a sin. Sometimes it might not even be your sins that causes you to delay smh but the sins of someone close to you has a large impact on your life too so be aware and guard yourself and your progress against direct and indirect attacks from the enemy. Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, - Hebrews 12:1 NIV 2. Learn how to fight demons with prayer. The Holy Spirit allows you to join the Heavenly angels in their battles against evil, He gives you authority to cast demonic angels (demons) and evil spirits straight to hell and to destroy demonic strongholds on yourself and even others! When you pray asked to be filled with the Holy Spirit and for Him to flow freely and fiercely within you so that His power overflows from you and out into your physical and spiritual world #HolySpiritActivate . With the Holy Spirit flowing, begin to declare and decree that all demonic strongholds are destroyed, along with all attacks from the enemy, all weapons formed against us, all demonic activity, all demonic bonds/attachments/soul ties, all demonic spirits, and you can even pray for all demonic areas to be destroyed! Oh and don't forget my new favorite attack, stripping demonic spirits from vessels (humans, animals, insects, etc.) so that God's angels can attach themselves to them instead #PrayerWarrior! Anything demonic has got to go so we all can move freely and a little easier within our purpose. You fiercely joining the battle like this dramatically turns the tides of war in our favor so make sure you're praying protection over yourself, your loved ones, and your good works. The results of those won battles manifest themselves in our lives in the form of completed tasks, finished projects, renewed passion for your purpose, another step revealed to you by God, more courage, Heavenly encounters in both the physical and spiritual world, etc. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. - Ephesians 6:12 NIV

Power in Prayer (pray with intention) https://youtube.com/shorts/a4YDV0mYsLs?feature=share 3. Don't forget to ask God for help! On days when you have to work but you're so tired that you don't want to get out of bed, ask God for energy to wake you up. On the days when you don't know what to do, write, say, make, etc. to complete a task He assigned you, ask God for the right things, words, ideas, etc. to help His people with whatever He needs/wants them to have at that moment. On the days you're not sure which decision you should make, ask God to give you wisdom and clarity on the situation. If He doesn't give you the energy to wake up for work then go ahead and take that nap because you probably needed it. If He doesn't give you anything to work with then maybe He wants you to wait while He works or He may even want you shift gears and work on something else or do something relaxing instead. If He doesn't give you clarity or wisdom like you asked then He probably wants you to wait, to be still for a moment while He works to clear and/or reveal the situation to you. God always delivers what He knows is best for us so it may be what you asked for or it may not be but whatever He responds with is what's best for you and others. Thing is, we have to follow through with it regardless if it's what we expected or not. It may be challenging for you but it get's easier the more you do it and it shows God that He can trust you with His instructions.

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. - James 1:5 NIV Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground. - Psalms 143:10 NIV 4. Consistency and flexibility are Key. Work on your God-given assignments every day for steady progress. I'm not saying try to work yourself into an early grave just to accomplish everything swiftly, I'm saying work on your tasks daily to accomplish them on God's timeline. We know that His will always comes to pass however we also know that there are things that can delay us from completing what we're entrusted to do within a timely manner. You won't miss what He has for you but He will put pressure on you and let you know that you're behind schedule and trust me that's not a good feeling to have 😅. There will be days when God calls you to work and days He calls you to rest, there will be some late-nights and there will be some early mornings, and that's not including your other responsibilities in addition to your purpose. It may be very challenging to find time for everything so ask God for help with balancing your schedule to ensure you're getting everything done each day. He'll help you figure it all out and He may add/subtract things/people to help you focus on what's most important to you showing up as the best version of yourself each day so just be open and accepting to what He may have for you. Know that everything God does is so you can be consistent in all areas of your life. God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. We want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end, so that what you hope for may be fully realized. We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised. - Hebrews 6:10‭-‬12 NIV All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty. - Proverbs 14:23 NIV Teach me to do your will, for You are my God; may Your good Spirit lead me on level ground. - Psalms 143:10 NIV 5. Stay anchored in Christ to stay focused on your purpose. Life happens to us everyday but being firmly anchored in Christ sort of feels like life happens around us everyday. Does that make sense? Like no matter what may happen we aren't worried, concerned, or bothered because we know that God got us so we just carry along being obedient people of God and the best we can be to those around us. That's because you're not focused on the world around you, you're focused on the Lord, who He wants you to be, and what He wants you to do. This direction of focus allows you to experience His peace that transcends all understanding and keep striving for all the good works He entrusted you to accomplish. Focusing on the world and the problems that comes with it allows you to become weighed down and/or distracted by them. You get worried about something on the news, you get distracted by the latest gossip, you get sidetracked by a random ungodly relationship, you get angry over something someone did to someone else, you get distracted by preparations and celebrations for non-Biblical holidays, you get distracted by notifications sounds on your phone when you're working on His tasks, etc. The list goes on for miles! We all may be guilty of letting the world distract us from time to time and that's to be expected because we're humans with emotions and connections with other humans with emotions. However, when we focus on the world we aren't operating the way God intends us to and the quality and/or progress of our walk with Christ and good works could suffer as a result. When we feel our minds, lives, or hearts shifting to the world we have to intentionally and thoroughly shift our focus back to God, where it belongs. Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the Pioneer and Perfecter of faith. For the joy set before Him He endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider Him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. - Hebrews 12:1‭-‬3 NIV 6. Study the Bible. It's easier to give godly counsel, do godly deeds, and live a godly life when we know the word of God and the best way to know it is to study the Bible. By "study" I mean whatever way you learn best, some people can read it, some has to rewrite it, some has to sing it, some has to do lessons or assignments, some has to hear it, some has to mentally put themselves in the stories, some has to role play it, etc. So whichever ways allows you to understand, process, apply, and remember it the best is how you would study the Bible. There are several ways you can begin to tackle the Bible and Rick Warren lists 12 excellent ways to do it in his book, Rick Warren's Bible study methods: Twelve Ways You Can Unlock God's Word:

(Warren, 2006) You have several options to choose from so pick what works for you and if you aren't sure just try them out to see what flows the easiest. I recommend you view reading the Bible as an adventure to help keep up a positive attitude about reading it daily or as often as God calls you to read it. There's plenty of beneficial knowledge and wisdom that overlaps each other within each story, scripture, and parable to keep your mind busy and interested as you strive to have the lessons written across your hearts. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. - 2 Timothy 3:16‭-‬17 NIV 7. Make sure your heart is in the right place. So what does it mean to have a good heart? It means, genuinely wanting to enrich the lives of others if not for free then at prices your target audience can afford. You shouldn't be focused on what you can get out of it or doing it just because... So frequently ask yourself questions like, why am I doing this? Who am I doing this for? How am I helping people? Am I helping everyone in my target audience or only those who can afford my services? What am I teaching people? And most importantly, does this glorify God? If your answers are somewhere along the lines of helping better the lives of as many people as you can in ways that glorify God's name then your heart is on the right track. This is important because you don't want to waste hours, weeks, years, doing something for the wrong reasons and turns out that God doesn't even approve of it. Trust me, I know. When our hearts are in a good place, it allows us to work freely within our gifts and our purpose because God approves of actions stemming from a good heart, us using what He gave us in ways that glorify Him, and us finding and walking in our purpose. The goal of this command is love, which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. - 1 Timothy 1:5 NIV 8. Be committed. Walking in your purpose goes beyond developing a God-centered career, it's a lifestyle choice and just like all lifestyle choices it requires commitment in order for you to maintain it. Yes, passion is a great motivational push but when that passion simmers down and you just don't want to do it anymore, that's where your commitment comes in and continues to carry you along your journey. Eventually your passion will reignite and propel you forward again but until then you have to stay dedicated. It may be helpful to remember why you're maintaining this new and often times challenging lifestyle. In those times pray to God for the passion of purpose, ask for it to flow freely and fiercely within and through you and out into the work He wants you to do. It also helps to re-visit the prior questions from number 7 and if your answers don't reignite your passion then at least it'll provide you with some dedication to keep going. Another thing you can do is praise and worship God because once the Holy Spirit starts flowing anything within His will is possible lbvs! Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans. - Proverbs 16:3 NIV 9. Flow with the Holy Spirit! This is one of my favorites because the Holy Spirit is powerful, He's literally the same Spirit that God sent across the whole earth to create/do everything He spoke; so like I mentioned above once the Holy Spirit starts moving anything within God's will is possible! God sent Him to us after Jesus left so that we would always have a teacher and advisor to instruct us of God's ways and an ever-present Spirit within us who reminds us all that God previously taught us. Allow Him to flow freely and fiercely within and through you, out into your spiritual and physical environments, and into all the good works He's helping you achieve. You will not be disappointed, the Holy Spirit is another loyal and faithful servant of the Lord that we can trust and depend on! #HolySpiritMove! Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. - 1 Corinthians 12:7 NIV 10. Find surefire ways to motivate yourself. Again, there may be times when your blazing passion burns down to a simmer, it may flicker, or even burnout all together so knowing ways to get you mentally, emotionally, and spiritually back into a blazing inferno is extremely beneficial to both your success and your happiness. This varies greatly per person and even based on what your purpose is so try some classic go-to's that honors God and if you're feeling adventurous then try something new to help you relax and recharge. So go relax in the Presence of the Lord, spend time with Him outside of your purpose doing godly things you enjoy like reading the Bible, reading other books, taking a walk on a trail, a candle-lit bath, working out, watching TV or a movie, prayer, meditation, journaling, a leisurely drive, a relaxing stroll through your neighborhood, etc. He will thoroughly refill your spirit, relax your mind, and ease your heart during your activities thus leaving you feeling brand new and ready to take on the world or at least your tasks lol. You can also praise and worship the Lord as a way to get motivated, I don't know about you but gospel rap gets me hype! There are plenty of genres to choose from so find your favorites, or freestyle, and allow Him to recharge your soul and your passions. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. - Galatians 6:9 NIV 11. Stay in communication with the Holy Trinity. The last thing They want is to place you on your path and you take off and forget about Them! 1. That's rude 😒 2. You still need Their guidance and communication to carry you through your life regardless of how your purpose is going! So keep talking with Them, keep scheduling time in your days for Them, keep praising and worshipping Them, keep doing all the things that got you to where you are so They can maintain you and get you to where God wants you to be and keep you there.

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. - Ephesians 6:18 NIV

Prayer for Purpose Holy Heavenly Father,

I come to You humbly in thanksgiving. You have blessed me beyond belief and I truly appreciate all that You've done for me thus far. In honor of Your goodness, grace, and mercy to me I want to make sure I'm living a life that brings glory to Your Name. I understand that You put something special, something unique, inside of me and I want to use those unique qualities to advance Your Kingdom. In the Lord's Prayer it states: "On earth as it is in Heaven" and I want to bring a unique slice of Heaven to earth to bring you honor and glory and for all to enjoy! Please reveal to me all the wonderful reasons why You created me and the multitude of ways I can bring honor and glory to Your name. Please open my spiritual senses so I can see and comprehend the information You share with me. I understand and accept that You will tell me as much as I can handle at that moment and agree to follow the steps You choose to reveal to me. Lord Jesus, please guide me with Your light and encourage me with Your loving Presence as I take each step towards fulfilling my purpose. Holy Spirit, please share Your eternal wisdom and strength with me to prepare me for the journey set out ahead of me. Thank you Holy Trinity for everything You will reveal to me and for making sure I have everything I need to accomplish the tasks You've prepared for me.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. ’ - Matthew 6:9‭-‬13 NIV Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. - Psalms 119:105 NIV Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God; may Your good Spirit lead me on level ground. - Psalms 143:10 NIV If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. - James 1:5 NIV I pray that this information is exactly what you need as you learn to discover and begin to walk in your God given purpose.
